Book Review ⋯ The Iron Daughter

Title: The Iron Daughter
Series: The Iron Fey ⋯ Book 2
Author: Julie Kagawa
Pages: 359
Stars: ★★★★★

Summary: Half Summer faery princess, half human, Meghan has never fit in anywhere. Deserted by the Winter prince she thought loved her, she is prisoner to the Winter faery queen. As war looms between Summer and Winter, Meghan knows that the real danger comes from the Iron fey—ironbound faeries that only she and her absent prince have seen. But no one believes her.
Worse, Meghan's own fey powers have been cut off. She's stuck in Faery with only her wits for help. Trusting anyone would be foolish. Trusting a seeming traitor could be deadly. But even as she grows a backbone of iron, Meghan can't help but hear the whispers of longing in her all-too-human heart.

Review: I really loved this book. I think I liked it more than The Iron King. It was exciting and action packed. Not to mention filled with Ash! I loved the struggle Meghan had between the mortal world and the Nevernever. What I mean is that sometimes she would long to go home to the mortal realm and be normal, then almost right after she would wonder if she would ever be able to go back to being normal, after seeing what she has. I also loved the mini-struggle between Meghan had between Puck and Ash. I love Ash!
