Book Review ⋯ Supernaturally

Title: Supernaturally
Series: Paranormalcy ⋯ Book 2
Author: Kiersten White
Pages: 336
Stars: ★★★★1/2

Summary: Evie finally has the normal life she’s always longed for. But she’s shocked to discover that being ordinary can be . . . kind of boring. Just when Evie starts to long for her days at the International Paranormal Containment Agency, she’s given a chance to work for them again. Desperate for a break from all the normalcy, she agrees.

But as one disastrous mission leads to another, Evie starts to wonder if she made the right choice. And when Evie’s faerie ex-boyfriend Reth appears with devastating revelations about her past, she discovers that there’s a battle brewing between the faerie courts that could throw the whole supernatural world into chaos. The prize in question? Evie herself.

So much for normal.

Review: SPOILER!SPOILER!SPOILER!SPOILER!SPOILER!SPOILER!
WARNING: Do not continue if you haven't read this book.

This book was amazing. I didn't like Jack throughout the book because he reminded me of my youngest brother, but I totally didn't expect him to be behind it all. I gave it a rating of 4.5 instead of a solid 5 because as much as I loved this book, I felt like it was leading up to something big that didn't happen. I mean, the ending wasn't what I thought was going to happen, and that's usually a good thing, right? I'm hoping that whatever I thought was going to happen in Supernaturally, happens in the last book, Endlessly

SPOILER-FREE!
Overall, I loved this book. I love this whole series. If you haven't read Paranormalcy or Supernaturally, you should go get them. Now.
